The two companies have signed a joint settlement that may bring the Termomeccanica Pompe, Gabbioneta Pumps and Begemann brands collectively under the Trillium umbrella in Italy.
When the deal closes, La Spezia-based Termomeccanica will concentrate on growing the ecological and gas compression sectors, where its subsidiaries TME and TMIC function.
Trillium, a portfolio firm of world non-public equity investment firm First Reserve, is the previous Weir Flow Control enterprise. The firm is a world designer, manufacturer and aftermarket providers provider of engineered valves and pumps used in the water and wastewater, international power technology, oil and fuel, mining, and basic process industries.
Trillium says that Termomeccanica Pompe’s services and products combined with its Gabbioneta, Floway, WEMCO, WSP and Roto-Jet Pump offerings uniquely place the company to offer prospects with an extensive range of complementary pump products, related engineering help, and aftermarket services.
