The 30 deepwell gas pumps shall be delivered between August 2022 and January 2024.
This is considered one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders thus far. It can also be the second LNG gas pump systems order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has positioned with Svanehøj in the last year. Svanehøj quadrupled gross sales of its patented deepwell gas pumps in 2021, and says there are numerous indications that sales could enhance even further in 2022.
“Until a number of years in the past, using LNG as a marine fuel was limited to LNG carriers and smaller ships. But we are now seeing a sharp improve in gasoline pump orders for deep sea vessels corresponding to container ships and automobile carriers,” stated Johnny Houmann, chief sales officer at Svanehøj. “ digital pressure gauge have been chosen as the provider of gas pump methods for over 50% of the dual-fuel LNG container vessels ordered globally in 2020–21. And we purpose to increase our market share additional within the coming years.”
