Sundyne appoints new regional gross sales manager for North and Latin America

Alton Smith has joined Sundyne as regional gross sales manager for North and Latin America, focusing on the chemical and industrial (C&I) markets.

In his new position, Smith will strengthen buyer facing initiatives and work with Sundyne’s internal groups to expand across the C&I house.
Smith comes to Sundyne with more than 30 years of expertise in selling extremely engineered gear and service solutions to the downstream and midstream sectors. He has labored extensively with EPCs, OEMs and finish customers in the renewable energy, oil & gasoline, petrochemical, chemical and power generation markets.
Prior to Sundyne, Smith served as vice chairman of gross sales for Fluid Sealing International, where he developed strategies to strengthen & develop distributor gross sales, whereas additionally overseeing training and functions assist. He beforehand served as a regional gross sales supervisor for EKATO Systems. Smith began his career at Flowserve Corp’s Seal Division and has also worked with midstream oil & gas OEMs at EagleBurgmann and John Crane Inc.
