Atlas Copco has agreed to buy Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, course of pumps and complete metering methods. The company employs around 1200 folks and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has a long custom of supporting clients and growing main industrial circulate technology for efficient, exact and protected dealing with of fluids,” said Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we are constructing our presence and know-how offering within constructive displacement pumps.”

“Geveke has strong engineering capability, providing complete industrial pump solutions from idea to commissioning,” stated Atlas Copco’s Walker.
The acquisition is expected to be accomplished during the second quarter 2022.
The major part of the acquired companies may have its base in the Power and Flow division inside Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area and a smaller half will be a part of the Service division within Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.
