Waukesha Bearings celebrates plant’s 50th anniversary

Waukesha Bearings is marking 50 years of producing in Antigo, Wisconsin, USA.

Founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1946, Waukesha Bearings opened its Antigo manufacturing facility in May 1972, with a employees of 3 full-time employees. In 2019, the plant expanded to a hundred,000 sq ft of producing area and now employs one hundred twenty folks. The manufacturing house was added to accommodate manufacturing for marine bearing methods and other new projects awarded to the company.
“We are pleased with our success and growth to turn out to be a provider of precision bearings to a variety of the largest multi-national firms from our small-town, Northern Wisconsin location,” said Mark Greenlund, plant manager.
To celebrate pressure gauge -year milestone, the company is planning an event at the facility for employees and extending its outreach to the group to educate them on the career alternatives available on the site. “We are on the lookout for individuals within the Antigo group who wish to be a half of the subsequent 50 years of success at Waukesha Bearings,” said Greenlund.
