Following Sulzer’s determination to exit the Russian market and close its Polish businesses, the company has determined to write down off most of its assets in the two international locations.

Sulzer expects a one-time influence of CHF125 million–CHF135 million at current overseas change charges. CHF125m shall be recognized within the first half of 2022.
