Hayward Tyler awarded pump contract for ITER fusion project

Hayward Tyler Inc and its sister firm Energy Steel have been awarded multi-million dollar contracts to help the ITER challenge in France.

Hayward Tyler’s contract covers variable drive booster pumps while Energy Steel will supply sixty two solenoid valve and cubicle packages.
The ITER challenge is a joint international analysis and improvement challenge to demonstrate the scientific and technical feasibility of fusion power. The demonstration facility is beneath construction in St-Paul-lez-Durance in France, and will be the largest fusion experimental reactor on the planet.
