Atlas Copco to amass Lewa and Geveke

Atlas Copco has agreed to buy Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in digital pressure gauge , Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, course of pumps and full metering methods. The firm employs round 1200 people and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.

“Geveke has robust engineering functionality, providing full industrial pump solutions from concept to commissioning,” said Atlas Copco’s Walker.
The acquisition is predicted to be completed during the second quarter 2022.
The primary a part of the acquired companies may have its base in the Power and Flow division inside Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area and a smaller half will join the Service division inside Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.
