Amarinth delivers 18m-long pumps for new Indian FPSO

Amarinth has completed a US$1.5 million order from Armada Madura for six API 610 VS4 vertical pumps for a new FPSO being constructed for India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC).

Two of the six API 610 VS4 pumps are pour point depressant pumps which may be 18m in length and the other four are methanol raise pumps which may be 10m long.
All of the pumps have PT100 temperature sensors which have been designed and constructed along the size of the pumps to monitor the temperature of each bearing individually.
เกจวัดแรงกด incorporate a supporting system of brackets that Amarinth has designed which attaches each pump to its tank throughout set up ensuring that because the pump is lowered into the tank it remains perfectly aligned, lowering vibration and put on throughout operation.
Once assembled, the pumps had been independently witness examined and authorized by DNV at Amarinth’s facility in Rendlesham, UK. The pumps have been then disassembled into 3m segments and shipped to Singapore the place the FPSO (floating manufacturing storage and offloading unit) is being constructed.
The pump delivery and installation needed to align with the FPSO build schedule. Because of the size of the pumps, they needed to be put in into the vessel’s tanks via the deck earlier than one other deck above the pumps could presumably be built. The first phase was accomplished efficiently over the Christmas period with Amarinth’s Engineering Commissioning group supporting the customer with the set up and commissioning.
The FPSO might be positioned within the KG-DWN 98/2 area, roughly 22 km off the east coast of Kakinada, India. เพรสเชอร์เกจน้ำ is designed to provide up to ninety 000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and have a 1.3-million-barrel storage facility. It will be outfitted to handle the monsoon conditions prevalent on the subject.
